形容词和副词

• 形容词和副词都是单个单词的修饰语
• 形容词只用来修饰名词或者代词
• 副词几乎可以修饰名词或代词以外的任何成分

• 名词修饰词 → adjectives → 只修饰名词或者代词
• 副词 → adverbs → 修饰动词、形容词、介词短语、整个句子……

名词修饰语

• 形容词是最简单的名词修饰语

• 其他名词修饰语：

• 「comma which」结构 → 非限制性定语从句（nonessential modifier）

• 「which」结构 → 限制性定语从句（essential modifier）

• 重要结论：名词和名词修饰语的位置必须非常靠近
